Colour Contrast

Juicy Studio offers a colour contrast tool. Now, you too can answer the burning question: does #b8e17f contrast well enough with #333?

Also via Juicy: Access Matters, a blog about accessible design.

Aggregators

Did I ever post about the site 10X10.org? It's kind of the visual cousin to google news. Quite neat.

On another front, Planet HCI may appeal to the geeks and designers among us. It's an aggregation of HCI (Human-Computer Interaction) blogs.

Tidbits

It's not a weblog if you don't post, right? Here's some random bits of my life for those who care.

I've been a little extra busy this month while covering for Christine, who's on holiday in Australia. I am green with envy...

Weird cat update: now it's insulation. Chunks of that pink fibreglass crap, brought in like spoils of war through the cat door. Fun, huh.

Today was weekly usability testing at work. It's great to be doing it, we are learning a ton. Speaking of, I'm going to the UPA conference in June! Could I be any more excited?

Shared vision has an interesting article on what those 'Julie' ads are all about. This calls for some culture jamming, folks!

I think I smell dinner... no matter what they say, don't marry for money. Marry a great, loving, creative cook. Worked wonders for me.
